The Hospital is built in the New Territories town of Tai Po and provides a total of 1020 convalescent and infirmary beds. The support services within the hospital complex include Occupational Therapy,Physiotherapy, Clinical Pathology, Pharmacy, CSSD, Radiology, General Administration, Central Kitchens, On-call Accommodation and Ancillary Accommodation. Wards are generally located on upper floor levels but these are closely related to external areas and the hospital grounds to provide a wide range of recuperative activities.
